- Huguenot member John Trussell and Billie Trussell recently visited the Kunthistorishes Art Museum in Vienna, Austria and viewed the portrait of Nicholas Lanier, by famous painter Van Dyke. Lanier was “Master of Music“ for King Charles of France and later served in similar capacities for Queen Elizabeth of England and King James. He is the Huguenot ancestor of several Georgia Huguenot Society members. John will be glad to share digital museum files of the painting with any Huguenot Society member.
